^ isn't using windows? (I was referring to the arrows I used a while back in this thread apparently showing up as boxes)

< can't open the character map that way because he's in an other OS. He presses Applications->Accessories->Character Map in the top left of the screen and is greeted with one far better designed than windows could ever wish for xD
